Any process that modulates the frequency, rate or extent of the regulated release of catecholamines. The regulated release of catecholamines by a cell or group of cells. The catecholamines are a group of physiologically important biogenic amines that possess a catechol (3,4-dihydroxyphenyl) nucleus and are derivatives of 3,4-dihydroxyphenylethylamine. Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of the regulated release of a catecholamine. Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of a cellular process, any of those that are carried out at the cellular level, but are not necessarily restricted to a single cell. For example, cell communication occurs among more than one cell, but occurs at the cellular level. Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of the controlled release of a substance from a cell or group of cells. The directed movement of dopamine into, out of, within or between cells by means of some external agent such as a transporter or pore. Dopamine is a catecholamine neurotransmitter and a metabolic precursor of noradrenaline and adrenaline. The process whereby a signal is secreted or discharged into the extracellular medium from a cellular source. Any process that activates, maintains or increases the frequency, rate or extent of the directed movement of amines into, out of, within or between cells by means of some external agent such as a transporter or pore. The regulated release of dopamine by a cell or group of cells. Dopamine is a catecholamine and a precursor of adrenaline and noradrenaline. It acts as a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system but it is also produced peripherally and acts as a hormone. Any process that modulates the frequency, rate or extent of the regulated release of dopamine. Any process that modulates the frequency, rate or extent of cell communication. Cell communication is the process that mediates interactions between a cell and its surroundings. Encompasses interactions such as signaling or attachment between one cell and another cell, between a cell and an extracellular matrix, or between a cell and any other aspect of its environment. Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of the regulated release of dopamine.
