Any process that modulates the rate, frequency, or extent of cell cycle arrest, the process by which the cell cycle is halted during one of the normal phases. Any process that decreases the rate, frequency, or extent of cell cycle arrest, the process by which the cell cycle is halted during one of the normal phases. The progression of biochemical and morphological phases and events that occur in a cell during successive cell replication or nuclear replication events. Canonically, the cell cycle comprises the replication and segregation of genetic material followed by the division of the cell, but in endocycles or syncytial cells nuclear replication or nuclear division may not be followed by cell division. Any process that is carried out at the cellular level, but not necessarily restricted to a single cell. For example, cell communication occurs among more than one cell, but occurs at the cellular level. The process by which the cell cycle is halted during one of the normal phases (G1, S, G2, M) as a result of a pheromone stimulus. An example of this process is found in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The process by which the cell cycle is halted during one of the normal phases (G1, S, G2, M). A cellular process that is involved in the progression of biochemical and morphological phases and events that occur in a cell during successive cell replication or nuclear replication events. The process by which the cell cycle is halted during one of the normal phases (G1, S, G2, M) as a result of deprivation of nitrogen. The process by which the cell cycle is halted during one of the normal phases (G1, S, G2, M) in a cell that has been committed to become a neuron that will reside in the forebrain. Any process that increases the rate, frequency, or extent of cell cycle arrest, the process by which the cell cycle is halted during one of the normal phases. A process by which progression through the cell cycle is halted during G1 phase, whereupon the cell enters a specialized resting state known as G0 or quiescence.
