Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of cell differentiation. Any process that modulates the frequency, rate or extent of hemocyte differentiation. The process whereby a relatively unspecialized cell acquires the characteristics of a mature hemocyte. Hemocytes are blood cells associated with a hemocoel (the cavity containing most of the major organs of the arthropod body) which are involved in defense and clotting of hemolymph, but not involved in transport of oxygen. Any process that modulates the frequency, rate or extent of plasmatocyte differentiation. Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of hemocyte differentiation. Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of plasmatocyte differentiation. The process by which a hemocyte precursor cell acquires the characteristics of the phagocytic blood-cell type, the plasmatocyte. Plasmatocytes are a class of arthropod hemocytes important in the cellular defense response.
