Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of T cell differentiation in the thymus. The process whereby a precursor cell type acquires the specialized features of a T cell via a differentiation pathway dependent upon transit through the thymus. The process by which a precursor cell type acquires characteristics of a more mature T-cell. A T cell is a type of lymphocyte whose definin characteristic is the expression of a T cell receptor complex. Any process that activates or increases the frequency, rate or extent of T cell activation. Any process that modulates the frequency, rate or extent of T cell differentiation.
