Any process that decreases the rate, frequency or extent of the non-sexual aggregation of single-celled organisms. Any process specifically pertinent to the functioning of integrated living units: cells, tissues, organs, and organisms. A process is a collection of molecular events with a defined beginning and end. The non-sexual aggregation of single-celled organisms. Mannose-sensitive, nonsexual aggregation of cells mediated by protein-carbohydrate (flocculin-mannan) interaction present in the cell wall. This process is pH- and calcium-dependent and reversible. An example of this process is found in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Any process by which an organism has an effect on another organism of the same or different species. Non-sexual aggregation of single-celled organisms mediated by polymers (polysaccharides, proteins, and/or nucleic acids) secreted into the extracellular environment. The attachment of one cell to another cell via adhesion molecules, occurring as a part of the non-sexual aggregation of single-celled organisms. Any process that modulates the rate, frequency or extent of the non-sexual aggregation of single-celled organisms.
